Who we are:
The Fair Lady is a clothing and accessories boutique for ladies of all ages, but specializing in teens and young adults. We have expanded our missy/women’s clothing so that moms and daughters alike can enjoy a unique shopping experience together in one place with the latest trends in fashion at their fingertips.
Our name, “The Fair Lady,” took several months to be decided, but was chosen because it sounded sophisticated yet fun enough to be applied to teens, young adults, and women as well as fitting our vintage Victorian era feel of our storefront. The “Fair” in our name is actually an acronym for Faithful, Ambitious,Intelligent, and Refined, which we think is what represents a “Fair” Lady. Faithful to her friends, family, and church. Ambitious to set out and achieve the goals and dreams she has in life. Intelligence that shows she can take care of herself and be successful. Refined in that she is elegant and cultured in her appearance and manners.
How we came to be:
February 2014 was when The Fair Lady was created based off an idea and dream. Amber, the owner of The Fair Lady, has an accounting degree, but realized her calling was in the fashion industry. She has much experience with clothing and design from competing in pageants for 12 years and designing some of her gowns and outfits. Using this experience, her goal was to create a clothing boutique for every type of woman to shop at and feel beautiful in what they wear.
What we do:
As a small business, we handle everything in house and try to add a personal touch to each and every order or in-store visit. Our girls do everything from hand picking the merchandise at market, unpacking and steaming it when it arrives, providing in-store guidance to find the best fit and look for you, and packaging the merchandise to be shipped to your front door! Small business is what this country was built on and provides the most new jobs in the United States today. So we truly appreciate you choosing to do business with us.
Where you can find us:
The Fair Lady is both an online boutique and storefront! We have our physical store and online headquarters at 609 Mena Street in Mena, Arkansas. Our second storefront opened at the end of March in 2015 at 2 Caddo Crossing Dr. Suite C in Glenwood, Arkansas. We also travel to festivals and markets for shopping on the go!
